Art event “ON THE ROAD (to SHIMANTO)” will be held from August 18, 2023!! ~The power of Japanese culture and art~



fumimoto brewery (Fumimoto Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.: Shimanto-cho, Kochi Prefecture, Representative: Hironari Okayama) and Iwamotoji Temple, the 37th temple of 88 sacred sites in Shikoku (Shimanto-cho, Kochi Prefecture, Representative: Hiromasa Kubo), are located in Japan. We will be holding the exhibition "ON THE ROAD (to SHIMANTO)" aiming to revitalize the region by creating a space where heritage-registered sake culture and pilgrimage culture are fused with the world of contemporary artist Hiroya Isozaki. . In addition, an event will be held in which the artists themselves walk the Shikoku Pilgrimage "Oshikoku" from Cape Muroto to Cape Ashizuri on their own feet, expressing the heart of the process. Please look forward to regional revitalization through Japanese heritage and art.

Contents: Art exhibition, sales "Hiroya Isozaki" label sake (Junmai Daiginjo SHIMANTO Hiiri*) Limited sale *Estimated sales price: 2,980 yen (tax included)

(2) “Oshikoku” poetry reading event “Moonshadow Song”

Venue: fumimoto brewery sake pairing BAR “Sakeyasan”

Date: August 19, 2023 <Sat> 18:00-19:30

Contents: Poetry and sake pairing, first come first served, capacity 20 people

Price: 1,500 yen (tax included), includes a glass of sake and appetizers



(3) “Hiroya Isozaki” Oshikoku training “on the road (to Shimanto)”

Event date: Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 to Sunday, August 20th, 2023 Starts on the day of the waning moon

Contents: Walking pilgrimage from the 24th temple "Saimisaki-ji" to the 38th temple "Kongofuku-ji"

Online broadcasting will be carried out as appropriate during the process.
